What is CITY?

CITY is a clinical research study being conducted at Duke University Medical Center that is designed to help overweight or obese people who are 18 to 35 years old to lose weight. People who join the study will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: 1) A group that will use software on a cell phone to help with weight loss, 2) A group that will be assigned a personal coach to help with weight loss, or 3) A usual care group.
